Hello:)

I thought I would start off by sharing a little about me! My name is Abby Clapp. I am currently a senior in high school, and I live in Colorado Springs, Colorado with my three brothers, two sisters and my parents. My life can be a little crazy sometimes being in a big family, but I absolutely love the relationships that I have with everyone in my family!

I love anything that is outdoors or has an adventure involved. From hiking to off-roading, I love experiencing new things and enjoying nature. One of the best ways I connect with God is through nature, and so being out in his beautiful creation is very enjoyable to me.

I also love connecting with others and value my friendships so much. I believe that intentional time with others is so beneficial and I love going on coffee dates with my friends or spending time doing art with them in order to strengthen those relationships.

I have a heart for missions and serving others, which is why I have chosen to do the World Race Gap Year. I have gone on a couple of missions trips to Eswatini, Africa in the past, and absolutely loved not only connecting with people from a different culture, but also growing my perspective. Those missions trips were monumental points in my relationship with God and through that, I make it a priority to seek God daily and try to show His love to those around me. I believe that through experiences and going out of your comfort zone is how you are able to grow, and I am very excited to be challenged in order to grow in my relationship with God and others through the World Race.

Thank you so much for your support as I start this new journey! I would appreciate prayers in this process as I begin fundraising, and I can’t wait to see how God uses me in this exciting opportunity! If you have any questions at all I would love to answer them, so feel free to message me:)

Thanks again!!

Abby
